Information involved

Registration and member services involve names, email addresses, phone numbers, dates of birth and, where provided, addresses, profile photos, emergency or additional contacts, and parent or guardian details. Family contact information may be shared by more than one participant.

Gym operations also involve selected programs, memberships and class packs, attendance and check-in records, class bookings, agreements or waivers completed through the applicable workflow, and payment-related records such as charges, invoices and payment status. The information involved depends on the services you use.

How information is used

Information is used to respond to questions and first-class requests, register participants, administer their gym relationship, manage classes and member access, record attendance, handle applicable agreements, process payments and communicate about academy services.

Messages you send to the academy contain the contact details and information you choose to provide. Completing a first-class request does not by itself make you a member or reserve a class.

Children and families

For a child participant, parent or guardian contact information supports registration and communications about that child. The child’s participant details remain distinct from the adult’s contact or account details. Please contact the academy to discuss corrections to family or guardian information.

Gymdesk, payments and other providers

Gymdesk provides the academy’s registration, member accounts and operational services. Registration continues at latanierejj.ca/signup and member login at lataniere.gymdesk.com/login. Information entered there is handled through Gymdesk and the services used for those operations.

Member signup and payment flows are handled through Gymdesk and its payment service providers. Payments are not taken through the public combatstudio.ca website.

The public website uses Vercel for delivery, Supabase for its public academy content and Google Fonts for typography. Providers receive the technical request information needed to deliver their services. Opening an external service takes you to that provider’s environment and privacy practices.

Website, cookies and technical information

Website and member-service requests involve technical information such as IP addresses and browser request information. Account services use session technology to support sign-in and member operations.

The public website and Gymdesk member services are separate environments. Contact the academy if you have questions about the technical information handled by member services.

Access, retention and deletion requests

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide our services, maintain required business and transaction records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect our legitimate interests. Individuals may contact info@latanierejj.ca to request access, correction or deletion of their personal information, subject to legal or record-retention requirements.

We may need to verify that the request concerns you or a child for whom you are authorized to act. Membership cancellation is not the same as personal-data deletion. Deletion requests are reviewed separately; deletion is not immediate or automatic.

Communications

Gymdesk registration includes an SMS subscription option. Follow the instructions in the message to stop SMS updates, or contact the academy about communication preferences. Providing details for registration or a class inquiry should not be treated as consent to unrelated marketing.
